Hello, I am Paul Lehane and this is Masterlight Photography.
I am a talented photographer with over 10 years’ experience and am happy to work anywhere in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex or London and it’s not unknown for me to travel further afield.
I have had images published in Landscape Photographer of the Year 2016, 2017 and shortlisted in 2018 and 2020.
I offer a personal and competitively priced service which includes:
Anniversaries and weddings
Christenings and naming ceremonies
Corporate events and awards
Families, babies and children
Portraits and headshots
Press and public relations
Theatre, amateur dramatics and school plays
The nature of the work means that I mainly shoot on location but studio sessions can be arranged in Tonbridge (Kent)
Why should you use Masterlight Photography?
Whatever the event, you want it recorded and recorded well. In years to come you will look back at the photographs and re-live the day. Masterlight Photography – ‘makes memories that last’.
Great photographers have so much more than technical ability. Obviously you have to be able to get great results no matter how challenging the conditions, but you also have to love working with people and get along with everyone. You also have to be creative and confident. Mostly you need to be discreet but their are times when you have to take control.
Please have look at my galleries and judge for yourself. If you like my style of photography then we need to speak and probably meet up. You have to be comfortable with me, and I with you. I am going to be with you for hours, meeting your family and friends and sharing your day more intimately than almost anyone else. It is really important that the chemistry works.
If you think Masterlight Photography is for you then I am happy to arrange a free pre-booking shoot so we can meet, get to know each other and you can experience how I work. The pre-booking shoot can be at the venue or we can meet somewhere convenient such as a National Trust property, on the South Bank in London, or just about anywhere that suits you.
Pauls Passion for Photography
My passion for photography started in my teens, when I purchased my first SLR camera, a Praktica. As soon as I started work I invested in a Chinon from Dixons stores (now long gone) setting up a dark room in my bedroom where I produced black and white prints and developed 35 mm colour slides.
11 years ago I moved to my first digital Camera, a Canon 450D. Several upgrades later I now uses two Canon 5D mk iii bodies. These are full frame professional cameras.
I am active members of Bromley Camera Club.
It has been a privilege to work alongside a great local photographer Matt James (www. mattjamesphotography.co.uk). We met when he was shooting a family wedding and we got chatting. A shared passion for photography lead to a friendship which is why we now work regularly together on larger jobs or cover for each other if one is already booked.
